The Hella-Endurant Seamaster (AGM) is a valve regulated Lead Acid battery specially designed for engine starting and long deep discharges typical of marine applications.
The maintenance free AGM design immobilizes the electrolyte making the Seamaster spill-proof and leak-proof. This range provides good cold cranking performance and good cycle life making it well suited for engine starting or cycling loads.
The Hella-Endurant Gelmaster (Gel) is also a valve regulated Lead Acid battery range in which the electrolyte is immobilized within the cells, but instead uses the Gelled Electrolyte Technology.
Using a valve in the top of each cell and advanced plate chemistry, the gasses produced during use are recombined within the cell making the batteries totally maintenance free, requiring no cell top up during their lifetime.
