Grid-connected renewable energy supply

A grid-connected system is a sustainable energy system fitted in addition to the mains power supply to the house.

The idea of being totally detached from the main grid often makes people nervous. A grid-connected system eliminates this concern as the sustainable energy system is installed in addition to the mains power supply to the house.

With a grid-connected system you can choose a package to suit your budget.

Why go grid-connected?

  • Reduce your carbon footprint and become part of the solution.
  • Reduce your monthly power bill and combat ever-increasing power prices.
  • Potential for allocation of carbon credits in the future.
  • Add value to your home.

Sustainable energy generation

There are a few different options for grid-connected electricity generation: solar power, wind generation and mini-hydro.

You may end up combining two or more of these renewable energy sources to meet your daily energy requirements, depending on the resources you have available on your property - ie. the amount of wind and sunlight you get and whether there is a stream or river that can be utilised.

We currently have a number of different sized solar powered grid-connected packages available and if wind or hydro is available we can adjust these packages to suit.
