I started my career qualifying as a
Telecommunications Technician and then moved on to working in electronics as a test
technician and then as production manager (PABX) for GEC in Porirua. I have also worked
extensively with automotive, mobile home and marine electrical systems.
Over the past 33 years I have gained very broad experience in energy efficient electrical
systems, with the benefit of training and practical experience in New Zealand and
overseas.
For the last eight years my passion for the environment has seen me focus my time in the
sustainable energy sector. I have also gained technical and practical experience with flat
plate solar water heating systems.
